ACB searches TTD Deputy EO's premises in Tirumala temple probe

ACB raided residences and office of TTD Deputy EO M. Lokanadham, who oversees Tirumala temple, in a corruption investigation.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday carried out searches at multiple locations linked to M. Lokanadham, the Deputy Executive Officer (EO) in charge of the Tirumala temple. The raids, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (ACB) Srinivasa Rao, covered the official's residence in Pedda Kapu Layout in Tirupati as well as properties belonging to his relatives.

According to ACB officials, the searches were conducted simultaneously at several premises. Reports indicate that Mr. Lokanadham's office on the Tirumala hills was also covered under the operation.

Mr. Lokanadham, who holds a key position overseeing the administration of the hill shrine managed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), has previously served in various capacities within the temple body, including during the tenure of the previous state government.

The development has caused unease within the TTD administration, though the exact nature of the allegations against the officer has not been officially disclosed yet.
