AISA president Neha Bora stated that the core issues that triggered the youth mobilisation remain unaddressed. She noted that despite the government's earlier commitment to withdraw cases against students, several FIRs are still pending, leaving young protesters in legal uncertainty.
By backing the march, AISA has reiterated its demand for accountability regarding pellet firing incidents, which have been a point of contention in previous protests. The organisation's support underscores the continued friction between student bodies and authorities over the handling of protest-related cases.
