Amaravati Phase Two: Collector Vows Returnable Plots to Farmers

District Collector C.M. Saikanth Varma has assured farmers that those who surrender their land for the second phase of the Amaravati land pooling scheme will receive returnable plots, mirroring the arrangement offered to farmers in the first phase.

Speaking at a village meeting in Pedaparimi, Tadikonda mandal, on Monday, the Collector was joined by Tadikonda MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar and Pedakurapadu MLA Bhashyam Praveen. Together, they urged landowners to support the government's initiative to transform Amaravati into a prominent global city.

Mr. Saikanth Varma stated that development work could commence immediately if a substantial number of farmers volunteer their land for pooling. He appealed to landowners to submit all necessary documents and physically demarcate their land and boundaries, ensuring accurate allotment of returnable plots.

Mr. Sravan Kumar encouraged farmers to raise any doubts about the pooling process and take part in what he termed a major development drive.

Following the meeting, the Collector conducted a grievance redressal programme at Pedaparimi, addressing farmers' concerns and handing over relevant documents to those who had already offered their properties. Officials assured attendees that the process would be facilitated smoothly and issues would be resolved promptly.
