Anupam Kher completes 'Shri Rambhoomi', says role was 'fortune of my life'

Anupam Kher has finished shooting for 'Shri Rambhoomi', calling the experience a soul-purifying blessing. He plays Shri Ashok Singhal in the film.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film 'Shri Rambhoomi'. The actor took to social media to share pictures from the sets, along with a video of himself dressed in white, walking alongside a group of saints.

In his post, Kher reflected on the emotional significance of the project. He wrote that while some films bring professional satisfaction, this one touched him on a deeper, spiritual level, purifying the soul and filling the mind with serenity.

Kher plays the role of Shri Ashok Singhal, a key figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. He described the opportunity as the "fortune of my life" and credited the blessings of Lord Shri Ram for it. He also thanked the producer, director, co-actors, and the entire crew for their contribution to the film.

The film was announced earlier this week. Kher had begun shooting in July, sharing a video from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya at the time.

Apart from 'Shri Rambhoomi', Kher has several other projects lined up, including Sooraj Barjatya's 'Yeh Prem Mol Liya' and the much-anticipated sequel to 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'.
