Apple Raises iPhone 18 Pro Battery Replacement Fee to Rs 13,900 in India
Apple has raised the out-of-warranty battery replacement fee for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in India to Rs 13,900, a Rs 1,000 increase over the previous generation.
Apple has increased the out-of-warranty battery replacement charge for its latest flagship phones, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, in India. Customers will now pay Rs 13,900 to have the battery serviced on either model, up from Rs 12,900 for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max — a rise of Rs 1,000.
The change, reflected on the company's website, is limited to battery service. Other repair charges for the new Pro models remain in line with the previous generation.
What other repairs cost
Back glass damage on both the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max is priced at Rs 16,900, while rear camera damage costs Rs 28,900. Screen replacement is quoted at Rs 42,900 for the Pro Max and Rs 36,900 for the Pro. Combined screen and back glass damage is listed at Rs 51,900 and Rs 44,900 respectively, and other damage at Rs 117,900 and Rs 110,900. All of these figures match the iPhone 17 Pro series.

The iPhone 18 Pro lineup
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max were launched earlier this month in black, silver, glacier and a new burgundy finish. Both phones carry a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture and new Pro camera controls, and run on Apple's A20 Pro chip. A new vapour chamber is intended to improve performance, AI features and battery life.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,64,900 for the 256GB variant, with the 512GB, 1TB and 2TB models priced at Rs 1,89,900, Rs 2,39,900 and Rs 3,14,900. The iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at Rs 1,79,900 for 256GB, while its 512GB, 1TB and 2TB versions cost Rs 2,04,900, Rs 2,54,900 and Rs 3,29,900.
