Ariana Grande Bids Emotional Farewell as Eternal Sunshine Tour Ends in London

Ariana Grande ended her Eternal Sunshine Tour on an emotional note in London on Tuesday, using her final moments on stage to thank the fans who have supported her through the 41-date run.

The singer, who has been open about her feelings as the tour wound down, addressed the crowd at the O2 Arena while trying to hold back tears. She described the tour as one of the "most beautiful, extraordinary experiences" of her life and promised to cherish the memories.

"I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have," she told the audience.

The London shows marked the conclusion of a tour that also travelled across the United States and Canada. Grande had confirmed in August that she would be taking time away from public-facing work after the live shows ended.

A representative for the 33-year-old said at the time that she was looking forward to finishing the tour "on a high note" and taking a "much-deserved break" from appearances, which have brought ongoing public scrutiny.

Ahead of the penultimate show, Grande had told fans on social media that she had cut her foot and would be swapping her trademark six-inch platform boots for something more practical. She reassured them she was recovering, even if she was a few inches shorter on stage.

Her audience, however, embraced her signature style wholeheartedly, turning up in stilettos, cat ears, and ponytails. Grande acknowledged the effort, thanking fans for making every night special.

The show's finale saw Grande lifted off the stage in a beam of light, a sci-fi exit that brought the tour to a close. While her next public appearance is unconfirmed, her latest album is nominated for artist of the year at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.
