Ariana Grande Bids Emotional Farewell to 'Eternal Sunshine' Tour in London

Ariana Grande brought her 'Eternal Sunshine' tour to a close on Tuesday evening with an emotional performance at London's O2 Arena, capping off a 41-show run that began in June.

Seated on a stool at the B-stage, the singer addressed the audience, visibly moved as she expressed her gratitude. "This has been one of the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences of my life," she said, fighting back tears. She thanked fans for "10 beautiful London shows" and the entire tour, adding, "I have loved every minute of this with you all."

Grande also praised her supporters for their creativity and dedication, noting their costumes, messages, and makeup. "I have the best fans in the entire world," she said, promising to cherish the experience.

The tour began in June with three shows at Oakland Arena in California, followed by performances in Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, New York, Boston, Montreal, and Chicago. In mid-August, Grande moved to London for a 10-show residency at the O2 Arena.

The finale comes after Grande announced plans to step away from the spotlight for an extended break. In early August, her representative cited "ongoing public scrutiny" as a factor, while Grande later clarified that the decision was not impulsive. Speaking at a Chicago show, she said the break was planned well in advance and came from a "thoughtful and empowered place."

Grande also withdrew from a planned West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's 'Sunday in the Park With George' around the same time. With the tour now complete, she prepares for her time away, having described the experience as deeply meaningful.
