The song was unveiled at an event in Mumbai, attended by state Cabinet Minister Ashish Shelar and singer Zanai Bhosle. The gathering brought together prominent figures from Maharashtra's political and cultural circles to honour the enduring legacy of one of India's most celebrated voices.

Sharing details on social media platform X, Fadnavis wrote that Asha Tai's divine voice will live 'Forever'. He noted that the tribute was released on the birth anniversary of the Padma Vibhushan and Maharashtra Bhushan awardee. The Chief Minister recalled that Asha Bhosle's voice was filled with extraordinary energy and emotion, and that even at the age of 90, her performances reflected the same passion and vibrancy that touched millions.

Born on September 8, 1933, Asha Bhosle's career spanned several decades. She is widely regarded as one of the most versatile singers in Indian music, with a repertoire that included classical compositions, ghazals, cabaret songs, and contemporary pop. She held a Guinness World Record for the most studio recordings and, along with her sister Lata Mangeshkar, helped define the golden era of Hindi film music.

Her collaborations with composer RD Burman, whom she later married, remain among the most celebrated in Indian cinema. Her iconic hits include 'Piya Tu Ab To Aaja', 'Dum Maro Dum', the soulful ghazal 'Dil Cheez Kya Hai', and the timeless dance anthem 'Yeh Mera Dil'.

Asha Bhosle passed away at the age of 92, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations of music lovers. The tribute song seeks to celebrate her contribution and keep her musical legacy alive for future generations.
