Avengers: Endgame Returns to Indian Theatres as 'Encore' Edition

Marvel Studios is bringing 'Avengers: Endgame' back to Indian cinemas with a special re-release titled 'Avengers: Endgame: Encore'. The film is scheduled to hit screens on September 25, 2026, giving fans another opportunity to experience the blockbuster on the big screen.

The announcement was accompanied by a new 1.36-minute trailer that showcases the film with updated colour grading and some altered dialogue. The trailer also includes real footage of audience reactions from the original theatrical run, capturing the excitement around the film's biggest moments.

'Avengers: Endgame: Encore' will be screened in premium formats including IMAX and Infinity Vision. Advance bookings are already open. The re-release will also feature an exclusive preview of 'Avengers: Doomsday', offering audiences an early look at the next chapter in the Marvel saga.

Originally released in 2019, 'Avengers: Endgame' picked up after the events of Thanos' snap, which erased half of all life in the universe. The surviving Avengers grapple with their loss before uniting for a final mission to reverse the devastation. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Kevin Feige, the film became a landmark cinematic event and concluded the Infinity Saga.

With 'Avengers: Doomsday' expected later this year, the 'Encore' release allows fans to revisit the epic conclusion before the story continues. The film will be available across India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
