AvenuesAI Q1 Revenue Doubles as Company Pivots to AI-Led Growth

AvenuesAI's Q1 FY27 revenue more than doubled to ₹2,680.4 crore. The company is now focusing on US expansion, Rediff's ecosystem, and AI-driven transaction intelligence.

AvenuesAI has started fiscal year 2027 with robust financial performance, reporting operating revenue of ₹2,680.4 crore for the first quarter—a 109% year-on-year increase. Profit after tax rose 45% to ₹84.8 crore during the same period. These results follow a strong FY26, during which the company's gross revenue crossed ₹8,100 crore.

While the numbers reflect solid momentum in its core payments business, management is looking beyond transaction processing. The company has identified three key growth engines for the coming years: expanding CCAvenue's presence in the United States, developing Rediff into a comprehensive digital ecosystem, and commercializing transaction intelligence through its TISco initiative.

US Expansion and International Economics

The company views the US market as more than just geographic diversification. Management notes that payment economics vary significantly between markets, and the US offers opportunities for differentiated, higher-value enterprise engagements. The strategy involves entering as a payment gateway player initially, with plans to expand offerings over time. The company targets international operations contributing 12-15% of payment net revenue by FY28, creating a dollar-denominated earnings stream with distinct pricing dynamics.

Rediff's Transformation

AvenuesAI's vision for Rediff extends well beyond its legacy businesses. On the consumer side, the company sees potential in content, RediffPay as a UPI-led payments offering, and RediffTV as a streaming platform. For enterprises, RediffOne is being developed as an integrated productivity ecosystem, starting with email, commerce, and payments, with potential expansion into ERP, CRM, and HRMS applications.

Transaction Intelligence and AI

The third pillar involves leveraging the vast transaction data AvenuesAI processes. TISco, the company's Transaction Intelligence Score, aims to use AI to derive insights from consented transaction data. Potential applications include credit assessment for businesses where traditional financial information may be incomplete. The company has fully integrated Nueromind, its AI arm, into the parent entity to facilitate closer collaboration between payments, data, and AI capabilities.

Financial Outlook

For the full fiscal year FY27, AvenuesAI expects consolidated revenue between ₹11,000-13,000 crore. The company is targeting earnings per share of ₹8.75-₹9.50, based on the proposed post-corporate-action face value of ₹10 per share.

Management emphasizes that the focus is shifting from merely processing transactions to creating additional monetization layers around each transaction and merchant relationship. This transition, as described by CEO Vishwas Patel, moves the company from transaction processing toward transaction monetization and ultimately transaction intelligence.
