Bengaluru Court Restrains Defamatory Content Against Yash's 'Toxic' Ahead of Release

A Bengaluru court has issued an order restraining the publication and broadcast of false and defamatory news about the upcoming film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups', starring actor Yash. The order, passed by the 36th CCH Court, comes just a day before the film's worldwide release.

The legal action was initiated by KVN Productions, the film's production house, which approached the Sessions Court seeking protection against the spread of damaging content. After hearing the petition, the court directed that such content be withheld.

'Toxic' is a larger-than-life gangster drama that explores themes of love, power, betrayal, and redemption. The film also delves into the relationship between the protagonist, Raya, and his son, Ticket. The trailer, released earlier this month, features a strong ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film has been shot simultaneously in English and Kannada. It will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, aiming to reach audiences across multiple languages.

Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, 'Toxic' is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 26.
