Bengaluru radiologist booked for allegedly drugging, raping woman staffer

Kodigehalli police register FIR against radiologist Yuvaraj Manohar for allegedly drugging and raping a 30-year-old woman staffer, and later threatening her with a video.

Bengaluru's Kodigehalli police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a radiologist, Yuvaraj Manohar, who owns a diagnostic centre, for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a 30-year-old woman who worked at his facility.

The woman's complaint states that on December 15, 2025, Manohar gave her tablets that rendered her unconscious while she was at work. When she regained consciousness, she found herself without clothes. The doctor allegedly raped her and recorded the act on his mobile phone.

Subsequently, the accused is said to have threatened to upload the video on social media and used it to blackmail her into repeated sexual assault. The complainant further alleged that Manohar arranged a rented house for her in Amruthnagar, where he continued to assault her.

On July 2, the accused allegedly abused her using caste-based slurs after learning that she belonged to the Scheduled Caste community, and told her she would not be allowed to work in his company.

The police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation into the matter.
