Bigg Boss Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam to Premiere on Same Day

In an unprecedented scheduling move, four language editions of the reality show Bigg Boss will premiere on the same date. The Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions are all set to launch on Jio Hotstar on September 6.

The Hindi edition, which will be hosted by Salman Khan, enters its 20th season. The recently released trailer shows Khan interrupting a duel between two warriors, setting the tone for a season where every decision carries greater weight. The show's tagline hints at a game with higher stakes.

Bigg Boss Tamil will mark its 10th season with actor Vijay Sethupathi as host. A promo featuring Sethupathi has already generated significant buzz online, building anticipation for the milestone season.

Mohanlal will return to host Bigg Boss Malayalam for its 8th season. The season's tagline, "Winning alone is not enough; you have to keep winning," was revealed in a promo featuring actors Lal Jr. and Kunchan.

Kichcha Sudeep will host Bigg Boss Kannada for the 9th consecutive year, with the show entering its 13th season. The promo shows Sudeep as a pilot, signaling the arrival of new contestants, tasks, and challenges.

Meanwhile, the premiere date for Bigg Boss Telugu has not been announced yet. The upcoming season, themed "Dasavatharam," will be hosted by Akkineni Nagarjuna and is expected to premiere on the same date.

The show follows the original Dutch Big Brother format, where contestants live together in a house with no outside contact, under constant surveillance. They perform tasks set by an unseen authority figure, and each week, the public votes to save their favorite housemates from eviction. The last person remaining wins a cash prize.
