Bihar to Launch Shikshak Samadhan Portal on Teachers' Day

Bihar will launch the Shikshak Samadhan Portal on September 5 to address teacher issues within 30 days, announced Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari.

The Bihar government will launch the 'Shikshak Samadhan Portal' on September 5, which coincides with Teachers' Day, in Patna. The initiative is designed to address and resolve grievances of teachers within a 30-day timeframe.

Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari announced the plan while speaking at the Seemanchal Conclave in Purnia on Saturday. He emphasized the government's commitment to reform, stating that the department aims to implement changes so comprehensive that the state's education system will function effectively on its own.

The minister highlighted that a teacher burdened by personal or professional issues cannot perform optimally. The portal is intended to solve these problems, allowing educators to focus on their duties. Tiwari also noted that officials will be held accountable if grievances are not resolved within the stipulated 30 days, potentially facing investigation.

In addition to the portal launch, the minister announced that educators from every district will receive state honours on Teachers' Day. The announcement follows a review meeting of the Education Department held in Purnia on August 29, where discussions covered the quality of education and school-related issues. Tiwari reiterated that a strong education system is the foundation for a developed Bihar.
