BJP charts youth outreach strategy ahead of seven state polls

BJP president Nitin Nabin on Saturday convened a crucial meeting with party leaders to shape the organisation's youth outreach initiative, according to sources familiar with the deliberations.
The discussions also focused on the party's groundwork for the upcoming assembly elections in seven states, with Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat among the key battlegrounds.
The meeting saw the participation of newly appointed BJP Yuva Morcha president Hemang Joshi, alongside former Yuva Morcha presidents Anurag Thakur, Poonam Mahajan and Tejasvi Surya.
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw attended the meeting, as did former Union minister Smriti Irani, who has been recently appointed as BJP national general secretary. Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi and Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma were also present.
The gathering underscores the party's focus on engaging younger voters and strengthening its organisational machinery in the run-up to the state polls.
