BRICS Leaders to Convene in New Delhi for 2026 Summit
The BRICS Leaders' Summit will be held in New Delhi on September 12-13, 2026, under the theme 'Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability'.
New Delhi is set to host the next BRICS Leaders' Summit, with the high-level meeting scheduled for September 12-13, 2026. The venue for the two-day gathering will be Bharat Mandapam, the capital's premier convention and exhibition complex.
The summit's official theme has been announced as "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability." The chosen focus areas signal the bloc's intent to address shared challenges through collaborative frameworks while emphasising technological advancement and long-term stability.
Bharat Mandapam, which has previously hosted major international events including G20 meetings, provides the infrastructure for large-scale diplomatic engagements. The venue's selection underscores India's role as the rotating chair of the grouping for this cycle.
The upcoming summit will bring together leaders from member nations to deliberate on multilateral cooperation, economic partnerships, and global governance reforms. Detailed schedules and bilateral engagements on the sidelines are expected to be finalised closer to the event dates.
