The much-anticipated action drama Captain India, starring Kartik Aaryan, is set to begin its production phase. The film's first schedule will commence in London on September 1, 2026, with the shoot expected to continue through October.
The project is directed by Shimit Amin, known for his acclaimed work on Chak De! India. The film draws inspiration from a real-life evacuation mission undertaken by India to bring its citizens back from a war-torn nation. It is being developed as a large-scale action drama that balances high-octane sequences with an emotionally resonant narrative.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Baweja Studio, in association with Dopamine Studios and S B Films, Captain India brings together a robust creative team. The story and screenplay have been written by Nash Vazifdar, Sanchit Gupta, and Priyadarshee Shrivastava.
This marks the first collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Shimit Amin. The actor is expected to bring both physical intensity and emotional depth to the role. While Aaryan leads the cast, details regarding the rest of the ensemble are yet to be announced.
