Twin Brother Shares Final Text to Disney Star Carla Jeffery After Her Death

Days after the sudden death of actress Carla Jeffery at age 33, her twin brother Carlon has shared the final text messages he sent her, along with a heartfelt tribute.

Carlon posted a screenshot of the exchange on Instagram Stories. In it, he wrote, "Hey sis, call me back when you get this," adding that he had been trying to reach her to ask about her day. He signed off, "I love you to the moon and back sis.."

In a separate message, Carlon remembered his sister's personality, praising her "resilience, your grace, your infectious smile that lights up a room." He called her "a light that shines bright" and urged her not to let anyone dim it, "even yourself."

Reflecting on their bond as twins, Carlon wrote, "You are the best sister a brother could ask for," and promised, "I got your back in this life and the next."

Jeffery was known for roles in Disney Channel series such as 'Shake It Up' and 'Good Luck, Charlie.' She also appeared in the 'Zombies' film franchise as cheerleader Bree Prattle.

Her 'Zombies' co-stars also paid tribute. Chandler Kinney called her "the sweetest, most sparkly gal," while Milo Manheim shared a photo from 'Zombies 3' with the caption, "Love you Carlaboo, the sweetest, kindest, most loving person."

Jeffery's death was confirmed by her longtime manager, Carla Alexander, in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
