Celine Dion Closes L'Oreal Paris Runway Show Near Eiffel Tower
Celine Dion made a guest appearance at L'Oreal Paris's runway show in the French capital, which kicked off Paris Fashion Week with a celebrity-filled catwalk.
L'Oreal Paris hosted a celebrity-packed runway show in the French capital on Monday, with pop icon Celine Dion appearing as a guest to bring the evening to a close.
The event, held at the start of Paris Fashion Week, featured a catwalk set against the illuminated Eiffel Tower. Among those walking the runway were models Kendall Jenner and Heidi Klum, actors Andie MacDowell and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, US Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and Italian Paralympian Beatrice Vio.
Dion, who is in Paris for a series of concerts, served as a L'Oreal Paris brand ambassador in 2019.
L'Oreal Paris is the French cosmetics group's largest brand, used by around 600 million consumers, and was the biggest driver of its growth in the first half of the year. Much of that momentum came from new haircare products growing four times faster than the market, along with makeup lines such as its best-selling Infallible 3-second setting spray, according to Laetitia Toupet, the brand's global president.
Speaking ahead of the event, Toupet said the brand continues to adopt codes that elevate it and make it more luxurious while remaining close to women around the world.
