CJP backs MPSC aspirants' protest, sets September 24 deadline for resignations

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has thrown its weight behind aspirants protesting alleged paper leaks and irregularities in online examinations conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). The party said its founder, Abhijeet Dipke, along with other members, would join the ongoing agitation.

The decision followed a meeting between a group of MPSC aspirants and Dipke at his residence in the Waluj area of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The CJP stated that the protest, which is pressing for the resignation of the MPSC chairman and secretary, would continue.

Should the demand remain unmet by September 24, the party plans to launch a statewide tour to engage with MPSC aspirants across Maharashtra.

Speaking after the meeting, Dipke said, "The CJP and I are with MPSC aspirants in this fight. We will stand with the aspirants till the resignations (of top MPSC officials)."

Aspirants have staged protests in various parts of the state, calling for greater transparency in the recruitment process and action over the alleged leaks and other irregularities in the examinations.
