A fresh split has emerged within the Community for Justice and Peace (CJP) with former leader Manish Brahmbhatt announcing the formation of a new faction, CJP-Democratic. The move comes amid allegations that the platform's newly constituted leadership under Dipke has drifted from its founding principles.
Brahmbhatt claimed that the current leadership structure does not adequately represent the wider movement that built the organisation. He specifically pointed to the inclusion of several members associated with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in key positions, while volunteers linked to other political parties and those who actively participated in earlier protest movements were overlooked.
The development signals growing internal discord within the organisation, which has been active in community advocacy. Brahmbhatt's new faction is expected to operate independently, though its immediate roadmap remains unclear.
Neither the Dipke-led leadership nor AAP representatives have issued a formal response to the allegations at the time of writing.
