CJP Telangana turns to SIR voter deletions, seeks volunteer help for affected electors

The Telangana unit of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has shifted its attention to the deletion of voters' names during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, directing its volunteers to identify affected electors and assist them in seeking rectification.
The decision emerged from a volunteer meeting held at Lamakaan in Hyderabad on Saturday, where members from across Telangana gathered to discuss grassroots outreach, citizens' rights and the party's organisational expansion.
At the meeting, the CJP leadership restated its three demands concerning Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. It also stressed the need for volunteers to fact-check cases involving voters whose names were allegedly removed from the electoral rolls during the SIR process.
The session was led by Vijay Mallangi, the party's South Zone in-charge and media head. It followed a recent visit by a CJP team, headed by Mr. Mallangi, to MGM Hospital in Warangal. According to the party, the visit was followed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directing officials to expedite the hospital's ongoing construction works.
Beyond the immediate political issues, the meeting sought to build a broader volunteer network across the State and familiarise members with the party's ideology and principles. The leadership spoke to volunteers about democratic and constitutional values and the role of citizens in protecting their fundamental rights.
Participants later took a pledge based on the principles enshrined in the Constitution of India, reaffirming their commitment to uphold constitutional values in their public and organisational activities. The meeting also provided a platform for volunteers from different regions to exchange views and coordinate their activities.
