Brad Pitt's Cliff Booth Returns in 'The Further Mis-Adventures'

Netflix reveals the title for the Cliff Booth sequel, directed by David Fincher, with a theatrical IMAX run before streaming.

Brad Pitt is set to reprise his Oscar-winning role as Cliff Booth in a new film titled 'The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth'. The project, which follows the character from Quentin Tarantino's 2019 film 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', will be directed by David Fincher from a script written by Tarantino.

The story is set in 1977, several years after the events of the original film. Netflix has scheduled a theatrical release in IMAX for two weeks starting November 25, before the film arrives on the streaming platform on December 23.

Pitt will be joined by Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Peter Weller in the cast.

In the original film, Cliff Booth was a World War II special operations veteran working as a stunt double and personal assistant to actor Rick Dalton, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The character lived in a trailer with his pit bull and struggled to find steady work in Hollywood.

Pitt's performance earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' also won the Oscar for Best Production Design, awarded to Barbara Ling and Nancy Haigh.

The new film brings Booth back to the screen in a different Hollywood landscape, set against the backdrop of 1977.
