CRPF Opens Sports Quota Recruitment for 521 Head Constable and Constable Posts
The CRPF will fill 521 Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD) posts under the Sports Quota, with online applications open from October 12 to November 11, 2026.
The Central Reserve Police Force has announced a recruitment drive under the Sports Quota for Head Constable (General Duty) and Constable (General Duty) posts, with 521 vacancies to be filled. Applications will be accepted online through the official recruitment portal, rect.crpf.gov.in, and both male and female sportspersons are eligible to apply.
Registration opens on October 12, 2026, and the last date for submission is November 11, 2026. A correction window will remain available from November 12 to November 14, 2026, for candidates who need to amend their forms.
Eligibility
Applicants for Head Constable (GD) must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or university. Equivalent Army qualifications will also be considered for eligible ex-Army personnel. For Constable (GD), candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
The age limit is 18 to 23 years as on August 1, 2026. Candidates must not have been born before January 2, 2003, or after January 1, 2008.
Sportspersons must have represented a team or won medals in the competitions specified in the recruitment notification between September 30, 2024, and September 30, 2026.
Application Fee
Male candidates from the UR, OBC and EWS categories applying for either post must pay a fee of Rs 100. Female candidates, along with those from the SC, ST and ex-servicemen categories, are exempt from the fee.
Selection Process
The recruitment will involve identity and document verification, a Physical Standard Test, a sports trial and a medical examination. Candidates have been advised to read the detailed notification before applying.

After filling out the online form and paying the applicable fee, they should submit it, download the confirmation page and retain a hard copy for future reference.
