CSG H1 Revenue Beats Consensus, Operating Margin at 24.1%

CSG NV reported H1 revenue of €3.3B, beating consensus, with operating EBIT at €784M and a 24.1% margin.

CSG NV has reported first-half results that surpassed market expectations, with revenue reaching €3.3 billion against a company-compiled consensus of €3.14 billion. The group's operating earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) stood at €784 million for the period, translating to a healthy operating margin of 24.1%.

Total profit for the half-year came in at €571 million, reflecting the company's operational efficiency. The order book remains robust, with total backlog and projects under negotiation reaching €23 billion as of June 26. This provides strong visibility into future revenue streams.

However, free cash flow was negative at €-742 million for the period, a figure that may draw investor attention given the company's growth investments.

In light of these results, CSG has reaffirmed its full-year 2026 and medium-term outlook that was originally issued at the time of its initial public offering. The company's performance in the first half appears to validate its strategic direction, with revenue growth outpacing analyst projections.
