Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcome second daughter

Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, sharing the news on Instagram.

Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have become parents for the second time, welcoming a baby girl on Saturday evening.

The couple shared the news through a joint post on Instagram, featuring an image of a baby's footprint. The caption read, "Welcome Baby Girl. 19|9|2026 Dua, Deepika and Ranveer," and was accompanied by an evil eye emoji. The post expressed their happiness at the family growing from three to four.

The couple are already parents to a daughter, Dua. On the eve of the new arrival, they visited Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Temple on Friday to seek blessings.

Earlier, on Dua's second birthday, the couple had shared a set of black-and-white photographs. One image showed Ranveer holding Deepika's baby bump as the two smiled with their foreheads touching; Deepika wore a fitted lace outfit, while Ranveer was in a white shirt and trousers.

On the professional front, Deepika will next appear in Siddharth Anand's 'King', alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, and is also part of Atlee's sci-fi action film 'Raaka', led by Allu Arjun. Ranveer has been occupied with the shoot of 'Pralay'.
