Two Shooters Injured in Delhi Police Encounter with Himanshu Bhau Gang

Two shooters of Himanshu Bhau gang injured in Delhi Police encounter; three arrested in connection with Narela murder.

Two alleged shooters linked to gangster Himanshu Bhau's gang were injured in a gunfight with Delhi Police in Rohini late Tuesday night. Police sources said three suspects, including a juvenile, were arrested following the incident.

The encounter occurred when a team from the Rohini district police's Special Staff intercepted the suspects in connection with the murder of a property dealer named Pramod in Narela. The victim was reportedly shot while heading to a gym.

According to sources, more than ten rounds were fired from both sides during the exchange. The two injured accused, identified as Deepak Pahalwan and Nitik, sustained bullet wounds in their legs and were taken to a hospital for treatment. A juvenile allegedly associated with the gang was also apprehended at the scene.

Police suspect the killing was linked to an extortion demand that the victim allegedly failed to meet. Acting on a tip-off about the suspects' whereabouts, the Special Staff laid a trap in Rohini. When the suspects opened fire on the police team, personnel retaliated, leading to the encounter.

Further investigation is underway to establish the motive and identify any other individuals involved in the murder and its alleged connections to the gang.
