Diljit Dosanjh headlines Wembley, announces Narendra Modi Stadium show

Diljit Dosanjh made history as the first Punjabi artist to headline Wembley Stadium and announced a concert at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

Diljit Dosanjh became the first Punjabi artist to headline Wembley Stadium on Saturday, September 12, with the concert selling out in under 48 hours. The show was promoted by Live Nation.

During the performance, Dosanjh announced that he will perform at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 21, 2026. The venue is the largest stadium in the world.

The European and UK leg of his AURA WORLD TOUR concludes this week with shows in Birmingham on September 18 and Manchester on September 20.

The run follows a record-breaking, sold-out North American stadium and arena tour. The 15-date tour included two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City, making Dosanjh the venue's first-ever Punjabi headliner. It broke his own record for the biggest North American tour by a Punjabi artist, selling over 225,000 tickets and generating more than $32 million.

Earlier this year, Dosanjh returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss the tour and perform his single 'Morni.' The performance, featuring two Bhangra dancers, highlighted Punjabi culture and went viral, inspiring numerous dance videos.

Dosanjh's career includes several firsts. In 2023, he became the first Punjabi artist to headline Coachella, and in 2024, the first Indian artist to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. His 2024 DIL-LUMINATI tour was the highest-grossing tour by an Indian artist across North American stadiums and arenas.

Since that tour, Dosanjh received his first International Emmy Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor and was named best dressed by GQ and Vogue at his debut Met Gala appearance.
