BJP has outgrown RSS, should heed Bhagwat: CJP's Dipke
CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke says BJP thinks it is bigger than RSS and should listen to Mohan Bhagwat, citing PM Modi's 'Dimagi Naxal' remark.
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Abhijeet Dipke on Sunday said the BJP believes it has outgrown the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and should pay heed to the Sangh chief's guidance.
Responding to a question about RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent statement in New York — where he said a Hindu who wants no Muslims in Bharat would cease to be Hindu — Dipke said the BJP should listen to Bhagwat. "After being in power for 12 years and having so many agencies in its hands, BJP is thinking that it has grown bigger than the RSS," he said.
Dipke also contrasted Bhagwat's remarks on Gen Z protesters — whom the Sangh chief said should not be called anti-national — with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's use of the term "Dimagi Naxal." "It clearly shows that the PM is not listening to Mohan Bhagwat," Dipke said, adding that such language does not look good when the RSS chief talks about inclusivity and respecting children.
"They should at least listen to Mohan Bhagwat who is their mentor... they are in power because of the RSS," he added.
On activist Sonam Wangchuk's recent interview remarks about CJP leaders having political ambition, Dipke said the statement was being distorted. He said Wangchuk had spoken positively about CJP leaders, calling them talented and uncorrupted, and that no one can predict future actions of any individual.
