Drishyam The Conclusion Trailer Clears CBFC, Set for Grand Goa Unveiling
The trailer for Drishyam The Conclusion has been certified U/A 16+ by the CBFC. Makers will launch it in Goa with the full cast.
With exactly one month to go for the theatrical release of Drishyam The Conclusion, the film's promotional campaign is shifting into high gear. Following the release of first-look posters last week, the makers have now secured clearance for the film's trailer from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
The trailer, which runs for 2 minutes and 52 seconds, was certified with a U/A 16+ rating on September 1. The team is now preparing for a grand launch event in Goa, where the entire star cast is expected to assemble. The event is slated to take place on either Tuesday, September 8, or Wednesday, September 9.
This is not the first time the franchise has chosen Goa for a promotional milestone. The trailer launch for the 2022 film Drishyam 2 was also held in the coastal state and was a memorable occasion.
Drishyam The Conclusion sees Ajay Devgn return as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu reprising her role as Meera Deshmukh. Her character's quest for justice now takes a deeply personal turn as she seeks revenge for the loss of her son. Rajat Kapoor is back as Mahesh Deshmukh, a father still grappling with the tragedy that altered his family's life.
The film expands its universe with new entrants Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar, and Prakash Raj, who steps in as lawyer Indrajith Shetty. Shriya Saran, Kamlesh Sawant, Ishita Dutta, and Mrunal Jadhav also return to the franchise.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is written by Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh. It is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak, and presented by Star Studio18 under the Panorama Studios banner. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2, 2026.
