The Viral Fever (TVF) has released the trailer for the second season of its popular slice-of-life comedy-drama, Family Kirana Store. The first episode is scheduled to premiere on August 28.
The show, which debuted in February 2026, revolves around Gajanand, a middle-class man in a small town whose life revolves around the struggling grocery store attached to his home. The first season was well-received for its warm and humorous portrayal of everyday family life and community bonds.
Season 2 promises to continue in the same vein, offering a clean, relatable look at the chaos and laughter of a joint family. The series is directed by Saksham Arora and Hemant Mishra, with Mishra also handling writing duties. Vijay Koshy serves as producer.
