The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will close the registration window for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) October 2026 session on September 25 at 11:55 PM. The application process, which began on September 11 at 5 PM, is open only through the official NBEMS website.
Candidates planning to appear for the screening test must submit their forms online before the deadline. Applications sent through any other mode, or filed after the cutoff, will not be accepted.

How to apply
Applicants need to register on the NBEMS portal at nbe.edu.in to generate a User ID/Application ID and password. After logging in, they must fill in the application form, upload a photograph, scanned signature, thumb impression and supporting documents, and select their preferred examination city.
The prescribed fee must be paid online. The examination fee is Rs 4,650, which includes 18% GST of Rs 709.32. Payment gateway charges, if any, will apply separately.
Candidates should review the form carefully, accept the declaration and submit it, then download and retain a copy of the completed application along with the payment details. NBEMS has advised applicants to verify all entries and documents before final submission.
