Four arrested in Kakinada gym trainer stabbing case
Kakinada police arrest four in gym trainer's stabbing death over relationship dispute.
Kakinada police have arrested four individuals in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old gym trainer, Kodamati Sateesh Reddy, who was fatally attacked in the early hours of August 26.
The arrests were made on Thursday following a complaint lodged by the victim's father, Yerrayya Reddy. Based on this complaint, a murder case was registered against Bondala Saikiran, Inti Satyanarayana, Prayaga Durga Prasad, and Indi Adikrishna under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Preliminary investigations suggest the incident stemmed from a personal dispute. The accused allegedly confronted Sateesh Reddy over his relationship with a woman who was reportedly involved with Saikiran. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, during which Sateesh Reddy was struck with a sharp wooden object, resulting in his death at the scene.
Kakinada Additional Superintendent of Police M. Kishore Kumar confirmed the details of the investigation. The accused are currently in police custody and are scheduled to be produced before a court.
