Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan Face Off in Groovy 'Haiwaan' Title Track

The makers of the upcoming film 'Haiwaan' have released its title track, 'Main Toh Nahi Haiwaan', just days ahead of the movie's theatrical release. The song brings a fresh, energetic vibe to the film's soundtrack.

The track features lead actors Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Saiyami Kher. It has been composed by Pritam, with lyrics by Kumaar and vocals by Raghav Chaitanya.

Sharing the music video on social media, Akshay Kumar wrote, "The darkness now has a rhythm of its own. Haiwaan Title Track OUT NOW."

'Haiwaan', directed by Priyadarshan, marks the return of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan to the screen together after more than a decade. The duo was last seen in the 2008 film 'Tashan'.

Director Priyadarshan has clarified that 'Haiwaan' is not a direct remake of his Malayalam film 'Oppam', stating he has approached the story differently. He also revealed that he had initially planned to make the film with Saif Ali Khan before casting Akshay Kumar.

Discussing the decision to cast Akshay Kumar in a negative role, given their history of comedy collaborations, Priyadarshan said he wanted to use the actor in a different way to ensure the film stands apart.

'Haiwaan' is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn under KVN Productions and Thespian Films. The film is slated to release in cinemas worldwide on September 11, with its music available on Zee Music Company.
