The official trailer for the upcoming psycho-thriller 'Haiwaan' dropped on Tuesday, giving audiences their first extended look at a shadow-drenched world of psychological conflict. The film marks the return of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan to the screen together after a gap of 18 years.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the trailer establishes an eerie atmosphere built around a dangerous cat-and-mouse game. Akshay Kumar steps into the role of a cold-blooded, calculating psychopath driven by vengeance, while Saif Ali Khan portrays a visually impaired man caught in the crosshairs.
The narrative opens with a series of gruesome crimes targeting police personnel and their families, spreading panic across the city. Amid this chaos, Saif's character finds himself falsely implicated and arrested. Forced to rely on his heightened senses, he is drawn into a perilous struggle for survival against a formidable threat.
The supporting cast includes Saiyami Kher as a determined police officer, Boman Irani as a prominent judge, with Shriya Pilgaonkar and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles. Priyadarshan co-wrote the screenplay with Abilash Nair and Rohan Shankar, while Pritam composed the music and Ronnie Raphael handled the background score.
Backed by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, with producers Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn at the helm, 'Haiwaan' is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on September 11, 2026.
