
Telangana MP's brother among 21 booked after Jubilee Hills pub clash
Arvind Yadav, brother of Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, is among 21 people named in cases filed after a brawl at a Hyderabad pub.
Hyderabad police have registered cases against 21 individuals, including Arvind Yadav, the brother of Telangana Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, following a violent altercation at a pub in Jubilee Hills in the early hours of Sunday, September 6, 2026.
The incident took place around 2 a.m. at Cara Cara Pub in Daspalla. According to sources, a verbal dispute between Arvind Yadav and another patron quickly escalated, drawing others into a physical confrontation. The clash, which began inside the pub, later spilled into the hotel cellar, where the two groups allegedly attacked each other using beer bottles.
Authorities at Jubilee Hills police station have filed three separate cases in connection with the incident. One case stems from a complaint lodged by Wasim Khan, who stated that he and a friend were assaulted in the pub's parking area as they were heading to their vehicle. The complainant alleged that the accused blocked their car, attacked them, and caused damage to the vehicle.
In a separate action, police have also booked the management of Cara Cara Pub for allegedly operating beyond the legally permitted hours without the necessary extension approvals. As of Sunday night, police had not released further identifying details of the 21 accused individuals.
