IBPS Declares PO Prelims Result 2026, Scorecards Available Till September 30
IBPS has released the Probationary Officer prelims result 2026, with scorecards downloadable until September 30. The recruitment drive aims to fill 6,715 posts.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has declared the results of the Probationary Officer preliminary examination 2026. Candidates who appeared for the test can now view and download their results and scorecards from the official IBPS website, ibps.in.
The result link went live on September 23 and will stay accessible until September 30, 2026. To access their scores, candidates must enter their login credentials on the result page.
Steps to check the result:
- Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in.
- Click on the link for the IBPS PO Prelims Result 2026 on the homepage.
- A new page will open.
- Enter the required login credentials.
- Click the Submit button.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Check the result and download the scorecard.
- Take a printout for future reference.
Candidates who clear the preliminary examination will move on to the next stage of the selection process, which comprises the main examination and a personality test.
The preliminary exam consisted of 100 questions carrying 100 marks, to be completed in 60 minutes. The main examination will have 170 questions worth 200 marks, with a duration of 160 minutes. IBPS has prescribed negative marking for objective tests: one-fourth, or 0.25, of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No deduction applies to questions left unanswered.
