ICAI Releases January 2027 Exam Schedule for CA Foundation and Intermediate
ICAI has announced the January 2027 timetable for CA Foundation and Intermediate exams, with Intermediate from January 2 to 12 and Foundation from January 3 to 9.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has published the examination schedule for the January 2027 Chartered Accountancy Foundation and Intermediate courses. The exams will be held in the first half of January, with the Intermediate programme spread across two groups.
Intermediate Group 1 papers are set for January 2, 4 and 6, while Group 2 will be conducted on January 8, 10 and 12. All six Intermediate papers will run from 2 PM to 5 PM, with candidates given 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 PM before each paper begins.
The Foundation examinations will take place on January 3, 5, 7 and 9. Papers 1 and 2 are scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM, offering a three-hour duration, while Papers 3 and 4 will be shorter at two hours, held from 2 PM to 4 PM. Advance reading time of 15 minutes will be available only for Papers 1 and 2; candidates appearing for Papers 3 and 4 will not receive this additional period.
ICAI has clarified that the timetable will remain unchanged even if any of the scheduled dates are later declared public holidays by the Central Government, a state government or local authorities.
