Indore Security Guard Killed After SUV Driver Runs Him Over Over Speed Dispute

An Indore security guard was killed after an SUV driver ran him over following a dispute over speeding. Two arrested.

Police in Indore have arrested two people in connection with the death of a security guard who was allegedly run over by an SUV driver on Wednesday night. The accused have been identified as Raja Kumawat (31) and Sejal alias Shalini (29).

The incident occurred at the entrance of a housing colony where the victim, Dharmendra Malviya (30), was sitting with his family. According to officials, Kumawat arrived in an SUV at high speed, and Malviya attempted to stop him from driving recklessly inside the colony. This led to a heated argument.

Kumawat initially left the spot but returned shortly afterward, driving at an even higher speed. He allegedly ran over Malviya and his 28-year-old wife, Jyoti. The security guard died on the spot, while his wife sustained injuries.

Lasudia police station in-charge Rajkumar Yadav said the duo were planning to flee the city after the incident. They were arrested on Friday and have been remanded to judicial custody by a court. A further investigation into the matter is underway.
