iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max Hit Indian Stores, Base Model Skipped

Apple has started selling the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in India, priced from ₹1,64,900, with the base iPhone 18 expected only in 2027.

Apple has begun selling the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in India, with the two flagships going on sale on Friday, September 18, 2026. Buyers can pick up the devices through Apple's India online store as well as its six retail outlets across the country.

Notably, the company has not introduced a standard iPhone 18 model this cycle. That base variant is expected to arrive around March–April 2027.

What the new phones pack

The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, launched alongside the iPhone Duo, run on Apple's A20 Pro processor. Both models carry a triple rear setup made up of a 48 MP main lens, a 48 MP ultra-wide lens and a 48 MP telephoto camera, paired with an 18 MP front camera.

The Pro features a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max steps up to a 6.9-inch display. Apple claims both phones deliver a full day of battery life.

Pricing and availability

The iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at ₹1,74,900 for the base 256 GB variant.

Beyond Apple's own channels, the phones will be sold through online platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon, and through large retailers including Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales.

Foldable on the way

Apple's first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, will go on sale in India from October 23.
