Missile Interceptions Light Up Jordan Sky as Iran-US Strikes Escalate
Video shows missile interceptions over Jordan from West Bank after US destroyed Iranian tankers and Iran attacked US targets in Jordan.
Newly released footage, captured from the West Bank, shows missile interceptions lighting up the night sky over neighboring Jordan. The visuals, credited to content creator @eliezerbrody, were authenticated by regional experts and align with independent reporting on the overnight events.
The interceptions occurred as the United States military confirmed it destroyed five Iranian oil tankers on Tuesday. This action was a direct response to recent attacks on American warships. In retaliation, Iranian state media reported that Tehran launched missiles toward US targets in Jordan.
Jordan's military stated that its air defense systems successfully intercepted 18 ballistic missiles aimed at its territory. Two additional missiles landed in uninhabited areas. No casualties have been reported.
Jordan, a staunch US ally that hosts American forces, has seen its military bases become repeated targets in this conflict. The latest exchange marks another significant escalation in a war that has now persisted for over six months, pushing the involved parties back toward open hostilities.
US Central Command declined to provide further information on the incident when contacted.
