Jay-Z Brings Out Justin Timberlake at Paris Concert

Jay-Z surprised his Paris audience on Thursday by bringing out Justin Timberlake for a rare live rendition of their collaborations.

The two performed 'Holy Grail', their joint track from Jay-Z's 2013 album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail', along with 'Until the End of Time', which Timberlake originally recorded as a duet with Beyonce.

The Paris appearance follows a similar guest-filled show in London last week, where Jay-Z welcomed Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean for a mini-Fugees reunion, performing the group's 1996 hits 'Ready or Not', 'Killing Me Softly' and 'Fu-Gee-La'.

That London concert opened with Idris Elba delivering the intro to Jay-Z's 2007 album 'American Gangster', and South London rapper Giggs also took the stage after being shouted out.

Jay-Z's run of high-profile shows has been marked by a steady stream of guests. His three concerts at Yankee Stadium in July featured Beyonce, their daughter Blue Ivy, Rihanna, Eminem, Nas, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, Usher, Swizz Beatz, Teyana Taylor and others.

The rapper is scheduled to perform again on Saturday night, followed by a concert at Paris' Stade de France on September 10 and two shows at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium on October 23 and 24.

The dates cap an active year for Jay-Z, who returned to the stage with a headlining set at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia. During that performance he moved through his catalogue and brought out a series of hometown guests, including Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Memphis Bleek, Jazmine Sullivan, Bilal and Young Gunz.
