In a related critique, Jayarajan also took aim at the Enforcement Directorate (ED), questioning why the agency has not acted on corruption allegations levelled against leaders of the Congress party. He suggested a selective application of investigative scrutiny, contrasting the treatment meted out to CPI(M) figures with that of opposition leaders.
