The trailer for the upcoming dark comedy Jeevan Bheema Yojana has been released, offering a first look at Arshad Warsi in a dual role. The film, directed by Abhishek Dogra, is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on September 4, 2026.
Warsi portrays two contrasting characters: Jeevan, an ordinary man burdened by debt, and Bheema, his dangerous lookalike. The story kicks off when Jeevan is presented with an extraordinary opportunity that seems like a way out of his troubles. However, this decision triggers a chain of events that spirals into chaos, with the two characters' lives becoming increasingly intertwined.
The cast includes Sanjeeda Shaikh as Yojana, Jeevan's resourceful wife, and Vijay Raaz as Vinayak, a mysterious figure who adds to the intrigue. Pooja Chopra, Brijendra Kala, and the late Atul Parchure appear in supporting roles. The trailer hints at a narrative filled with crime, suspense, and situational humour, driven by the confusion of mistaken identities.
Speaking about his experience, Warsi noted that playing two distinct characters was a unique challenge. He explained that the humour in the film emerges naturally from the situations and the characters themselves, rather than feeling forced. He expressed hope that audiences will enjoy watching the worlds of Jeevan and Bheema collide.
Jeevan Bheema Yojana is presented and produced by Starbeam Ventures Limited (formerly Blue God Entertainment Limited). The film is now gearing up for its theatrical debut.
