Arshad Warsi's 'Jeevan Bheema Yojna' Gets September 4 Release Date

Arshad Warsi's upcoming dark comedy 'Jeevan Bheema Yojna' is set to release in theatres worldwide on September 4. The film, directed by Abhishek Dogra, was earlier scheduled for an August 28 release.

The movie features Warsi in a dual role, playing two lookalike men whose lives become dangerously intertwined. The cast also includes Sanjeeda Shaikh, Vijay Raaz, Pooja Chopra, and Bijendra Kala.

The story follows Jeevan and his wife Yojana, a couple burdened by debt. Their fortunes appear to change when they encounter Bheema, a stranger who is Jeevan's exact lookalike. They devise a plan to fake Jeevan's death and claim an insurance payout, but the scheme unravels when Bheema is linked to a diamond-smuggling network.

Warsi announced the release date on Instagram, teasing the film's premise of hidden identities and deception. Director Abhishek Dogra described the film as a dark comedy about ordinary people making a catastrophic decision, exploring themes of greed, desperation, and the consequences of a lie that spirals out of control.

Produced by Anshu Mishra under Star Beam Ventures Ltd, the film has completed production.
