Seventeen of 21 workers from Jharkhand sustained injuries when their vehicle overturned on a highway near Buja Buja Nellore on Tuesday evening. The group was en route to Daggavolu near Balayapalle in Tirupati district for work related to the shifting of power lines when the accident occurred.

The injured workers were admitted to the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Nellore for treatment. Upon learning of the incident, District Collector Himanshu Shukla visited the hospital to personally assess the situation and review the quality of medical care being provided to the victims.
