JSP to launch youth wing on Pawan Kalyan's birthday in Pithapuram
JSP will unveil its youth wing's name and logo in Pithapuram on September 2, marking Pawan Kalyan's birthday.
The Jana Sena Party (JSP) will unveil the name and logo of its newly formed youth wing during the birthday celebrations of party founder and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram on Wednesday, September 2.
Party Political Affairs Committee chairman and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar made the announcement while addressing the media in Pithapuram on Tuesday. He confirmed that a song composed for the youth wing would also be released during the event.
Pawan Kalyan will not attend the celebrations as he is currently undergoing medical treatment in Kerala.
Manohar said the new wing would ensure representation and an active role for young people at every level of the party, including Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies. The youth would be groomed into committed leaders and deputed into the party's campaign and selection committees in the future.
"Youth will be given priority in the ensuing local body elections on a par with women," Manohar said.
A bike rally will be taken out from Chitrada to Pithapuram, from where the programme will be aired to every Assembly headquarters. Similar bike rallies are scheduled across all Assembly constituencies.
