Kadapa launches single-window centre to fast-track investor clearances
Kadapa opens Invest Kadapa centre at Collectorate to streamline land allotment, approvals, and coordination for investors, targeting tourism, minerals, real estate, and renewable energy.
The district administration of Kadapa has opened a dedicated investment facilitation centre, named 'Invest Kadapa', at the Collectorate. The facility is designed to serve as a single-window clearance point for prospective investors, allowing them to move from initial inquiry to final approvals without shuttling between multiple government departments.
The centre will primarily handle land allotment, processing of statutory approvals, and coordination among various departments involved in project setup. By centralising these functions, the administration aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and offer a seamless experience for businesses.
In terms of sectoral focus, the initiative will actively seek investment from other states in tourism, minerals, real estate, and wind and solar power. These areas have been identified as having significant growth potential within the district.
Officials described the concept as 'walk in with an idea, walk out with approvals', underscoring the centre's role in simplifying the investment process. The move is expected to boost local economic activity and generate employment opportunities.
