Kavitha alleges nexus between Revanth Reddy and Harish Rao over Siddipet land

Kavitha alleged a nexus between CM Revanth Reddy and BRS MLA Harish Rao over the transfer of 100 acres of prohibited land in Siddipet.

Telangana Rakshana Sena chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has alleged a direct nexus between Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and BRS MLA Harish Rao, claiming that the government has been ignoring the illegal transfer of 100 acres of land in Siddipet. According to her, the land falls under the prohibited category (22A) and was transferred into the names of Mr. Harish Rao's father and other family members.

In a statement, Ms. Kavitha challenged the Chief Minister to order an inquiry and act against Mr. Harish Rao, saying she was prepared to hand over all the clear evidence in the matter. She also asked whether Mr. Revanth Reddy and Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy had the courage to take immediate action against Mr. Harish Rao, rather than "secretly colluding with him."

Ms. Kavitha also expressed anguish over recent Assembly proceedings, criticising both the ruling and Opposition parties for turning a platform meant to address public problems into a battleground for personal insults. She faulted BRS leaders for neglecting public issues, asking whether they cared to attend the Assembly only when they were in power.

She further pointed out that when BRS leaders were suspended from the Assembly, they did not voice their concerns in the Legislative Council and instead staged a walkout.
