Kerala Creates Sabarimala ADM Post in Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle

The Kerala government has created an ex-cadre post of Additional District Magistrate for Sabarimala, to be filled in the Senior Time Scale of the IAS, with status and responsibility equivalent to that of a Deputy Secretary to the government. Dilip K. Kainikkara has been appointed to the position.

The officer will be responsible for coordinating the activities of all government departments and agencies operating in Sabarimala, Pampa and Nilackal during the Mandalam-Makaravilakku season.

The General Administration Department issued a wide-ranging list of transfers and postings alongside the new appointment.

V. Sriram, Director of the Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare department, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary and Officer on Special Duty in the Forest and Wildlife department. He will hold full additional charge of Joint Secretary and Officer on Special Duty in the Skill and Cashew Development department, and will continue as Managing Director of the Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence.

Renu Raj, Additional Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare department, will hold full additional charge as State Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Project Director of e-Health, and Managing Director of the State Health Agency. She has been relieved of her roles as Managing Director of the Kerala Medical Services Corporation Ltd and Managing Director of the Kerala Health Research and Welfare Society.

Inbasekar K., Director of the Cultural Affairs department, has been transferred and posted as Director of State Lotteries, while continuing to hold full additional charge as Director of Cultural Affairs. V. Vigneshwari, Director of the Women and Child Development department, will hold full additional charge as Commissioner of Disaster Management in addition to her existing responsibilities.

Arun K. Vijayan, Director of the Industries department, has been posted as Director of General Education and will hold full additional charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Education Rejuvenation Mission. Vinod V.R., Additional Secretary in the Public Works Department, will hold full additional charge as Project Director of the Kerala State Transport Project.

Snehil Kumar Singh, Director of General Education, has been transferred and posted as Director of the Industries and Commerce department, with full additional charge as Managing Director of the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation and Managing Director of the Kerala State IT Infrastructure Limited.

Priyanka G., District Collector of Ernakulam, will hold full additional charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Kochi Metropolitan Transport Authority. Anju K.S., Director of State Lotteries, has been posted as District Collector of Thiruvananthapuram, with full additional charge as Chairperson of the Monitoring Committee constituted to resolve rehabilitation issues related to the Vizhinjam port project.

Arjun Pandian, District Collector of Kasaragod, has been transferred and posted as Director of the Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare department, with full additional charges as Additional Project Director of KERA, Registrar of Co-operative Societies, and Director of Co-operative Audit. Anu Kumari, District Collector of Thiruvananthapuram, has been posted as Special Commissioner of GST.

Sikha Surendran, District Collector of Thrissur, will hold full additional charge as Director General of the Kerala Institute of Local Administration. Chelsasini V, Director of the Fisheries department, has been posted as District Collector of Wayanad, while Sreedhanya Suresh, Commissioner of Food Safety, has been posted as District Collector of Kasaragod.

D. Dharmalashri, Joint Secretary in the Local Self-Government department, will hold full additional charge as Executive Director of Suchitwa Mission. Binu Francis, Joint Managing Director of the Kerala Water Authority, has been posted as Director of the Scheduled Tribes Development department. Harikumar K., Director of Mining and Geology, has been posted as Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, with full additional charge as Director of the Coir Development department.

Arun S. Nair, Director of the Social Justice department, will hold full additional charge as Executive Director of the Kerala Social Security Mission and Director of Elderly Welfare. Safna Nazarudeen, Labour Commissioner, will hold full charge as Director of Employment and Training and has been relieved of the post of Joint Commissioner of Land Revenue.

Sachin Kumar Yadav, Deputy Secretary in the Finance department, has been posted as Director of the Kerala State IT Mission, with additional charge as Director of the Kerala State Remote Sensing and Environment Centre, Chief Executive Officer of Technopark, and Managing Director of the Kerala Fibre Optic Network Limited. Sandip Kumar, Director of the Kerala State IT Mission, has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Finance department, with full additional charges as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Rebuild Kerala Initiative and Officer on Special Duty in the GA (AIS) department.

Mohammed Shafiq, Additional Commissioner in the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax department, has been posted as Officer on Special Duty and Joint Secretary in the Revenue department, with full additional charge as Director of the Programme Implementation, Evaluation and Monitoring Department. Anu S. Nair, State Mission Director of the National Health Mission, has been posted as Commissioner of Food Safety, with full additional charge as Managing Director of the Kerala State Medical Services Corporation Limited and Managing Director of the Kerala Health Research and Welfare Society.

Alfred O.V. has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Elderly Welfare department, with full additional charge as Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Maritime Board and Nodal Officer for Mission Samudra. Sumit Kumar Thakur has been posted as Additional Director (General) in the Tourism department, with full additional charge as Managing Director of the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.
